HYBE Accused of “Payola” Over GRAMMY Invite Controversy #kpop
Hib has been accused of Piola after a recent announcement regarding some of its idols. Recently, the Grammys announced the creators invited to join the recording academy which recognizes the achievements in the music industry. It was noted that some of the artists included were hib stars including TXT’s Yong Jun and Hypen’s Yong Wan 17’s Woo and Vernon, Lerapim Yunjin, and Katsai. Ziko is also included and his company Koz Entertainment is a subsidiary under Hib. When the announcement was made, Nisonens noticed that the K-pop idols all came from Hib and accused the company of Poliola to have their stars involved. [Music] Netzens defended the decision, sharing the achievements of some of the Hib stars included, with others explaining that Hib sent in the applications, meaning that other K-pop companies could have done the name.
