Well, as my birthday present, I’m going to be watching K-pop Demon Hunters as voted upon by you guys. This should be fun. It’s been on my radar. I had already downloaded. I offered what I offered in poll was [ __ ] that I just said download, so I don’t want to be trying to look for something. This was just what I had on hand. This is one of them. I’ve also download Trap, which I’m very curious about. I want to see The Gorge. I saw a trailer for it. It looked really good. I just haven’t had time to do it. I don’t think anybody will care about me reacting to it, but you know, and I’m also doing The Wolf Man, which you will see shortly on this channel. And both of these are coming out today. Just a little birthday shenanigans. Should be fun. This and Wolf Man probably. You couldn’t find two more different movies. Maybe they are Demon Hunters. What I can’t figure out is the K-pop band the demons or they the hunters. I think they’re probably the hunters from the way the title is demonstrated, but I’ve been tricked before. All right. Well, this is after all the credits, you know, the production credits. This is made by so and so. It’s 34 seconds into my particular movie file. It’s the screen goes white for a second and then the movie starts. It’s right after Sony presents or whatever [ __ ] You know, the text goes away. We get a white screen for like one second. It’s probably a a strobe light that hits the camera before we get to the It’s a concert scene clearly. So, we’re right there. We’re at the very beginning of the video and we are going on one. Three, two, one. Although I don’t know much about K-pop. I’m aware of it obviously and I’m aware of J-pop. I’ve heard a couple songs. But you really be you’re going to be hunters. Yes. That’s right. K-pop the vampire slayer. That’s right. Wait, where’s the I guess this is a dub. I was expecting I may have to switch to um I may have to switch to the the sub [ __ ] Well, I was I was hoping for captions. Sorry about that. I I thought this was going to be a dub. Olivia Rodrigo. Um she did it for her second album. You know, you have a 24-hour countdown or something. [ __ ] I mean, the music is fine. I’m old. It isn’t for me. Because here’s the thing about these kind of songs, and again, I’m just talking about for me, okay? I’m listening to it and I’m not retaining any of the lyrics. It just kind of washes over me. It’s pleasant to listen to. It’s not unpleasant to listen to. But she’s saying English words and I’m not retaining a single one of these words. And not just cuz I’m talking while she’s doing it cuz I I was listening there for a bit. Right. Whereas the music of my era, you would listen to it. You would retain the words. You would hear it. This is just like um how do I put this? It’s kind of like a um imagine a lake that has no ripples on it. It’s just, you know, the surface is calm. There’s all this [ __ ] happening underneath, but the surface is calm. That’s the way this music is. It’s just it’s not for me cuz what are you saying? I can’t retain it. I finally live like the girl they all see. Maybe I can retain that if I focus. But also the the voice is monotone even though it’s not. I mean she’s she’s got rises and falls, you know, but I don’t know, man. It seems to be within a range. I don’t know. I mean, so it’s not for me. That’s what I keep saying because it’s not. We’ll experience that together and then we’ll talk. But, um, I really like this. This is very well done. I like this a lot. It was It was very complicated. They didn’t go with the obvious crap, which was that he would live and be with her. Like, there there’s redemption and death. I really believe that. So, um, that’s a perfect ending for the character. This is very well written. The songs are catchy. I’m sure the kids love them. There’s a reason why this is a very popular movie, right? Eugen Kim, that’s actually a name I recognize. I can’t remember what I know her from, but I’ve seen her something. Daniel Dayim, of course. Oh, he was that character. Of course he was. In King Jong, he played Charlie or what? Bobby or whatever Billy, whatever the dude’s name was. Of course, that was him, obviously. So, um, but yeah, really good movie, man. I can see why it got uh so much um who the hell is that? I guess they’re just chibi versions of the characters or whatever they call it, right? I can see why this is such a popular movie though. So, here’s hoping for a sequel, right, when they bring the F boy back. Got to hope not. That’s a perfect ending to his character. I really don’t want to see him. I was afraid they’re going to mess up the movie by having him at there at the end because that would have that would just not been the move, man. So, you know, I mean, it’s it’s a lot better the way it ended up. A sequel can only screw that up. So, hopefully they don’t do that. Hopefully they go completely different direction with the sequel. But, um, well, you know, a movie this popular, Take Down Twice version. Here we go. I love seeing behind the scenes stuff. That’s right. Now we’re talking. Yeah, that’s a good recording studio they’re using there. Those are good mics, too. Now, there’s some mics have different purposes, right? Some mics um are for singing, some are for voice over. Those are obviously singing mics. I’ve never used that kind. I’m interested in the fact she has her mouth right up on it. Man, I’ve never seen that before. Like with a with a voiceover mic, you’re going to want This is kind of loud, man. Calm down. You’re going to want it further away about this far away from the mouth at least. But those are I guess for singing mics. I’ve never used that kind, so I guess they’re really close to your mouth. Hey man, that was really good. So can’t imagine something better to watch on my birthday. Although I’m going to be watching The Wolf Man very soon, like in in an hour or two.
