Months ago, it came out that Fantasy Boys members repeatedly made the universal SOS handsign on camera, including behind contents, lives, even an ending fairy. It got attention, but ultimately the group isnt popular/big enough to gain traction.
With today’s news that over half the group, including those that made the handsignal, are suing the company to terminate contract, the obvious conclusions are that these were real calls for help, the company forced the members to make statements denying this, and this legal fight is the only remaining thing they can do to protect themselves.
This situation has played out before, and it feels like there’s rarely cases where members/fans can stand up to the company and win. Is this recency bias? Is there nothing that fans can do when we know something is wrong?
I feel sick to my stomach knowing that they were literally calling for help, we all could see it, and could do NOTHING for months.
