was just casually scrolling on xiaohongshu until i came across a cute fancam of karina, opened the comments and..😬!!
why are the comments having an avengers civil war moment and discussing about how idols should be ABSOLUTELY skinny? their main concern was how “fat” karina was??? they compared her to her bandmates as well and even made remarks about how other aespa members’ weight was ideal, even if they’d collapse as a result of losing so much weight (winter falling ill while they were on tour, ningning being exhausted, etc). what the hell are they talking about, like genuinely??
unfortunately even with the skinniest idols, they continue to judge and scold female idols if they aren’t to their standard of skinny. it’s a bit dystopian and the screenshots u see above were the “tamest” ones i could find🤦♀️.
