So for those of you who don't know, Coco (known online as @cocojiew) is a content creator who posts both on Instagram and TikTok and is a huge fan of Enhypen, having Heeseung as her bias. She is also an amazing dancer, posting great covers on the internet. She got the chance to meet Enhypen multiple times, both at fan events and also got to dance on stage with them once.
After Heeseung was revealed to have left Enhypen and going to start his solo career, Coco made a couple of stories being outright shocked at the news and then announced a break from social media to process the information privately. She also had to prepare herself mentally for a surgery she was about to go through and therefore was not in the right mental space to make content at the moment.
A couple hours ago Coco came back on socials and made a video revealing that during this SINGLE month of break, she had been harassed, shamed and sent death threats by people because she took a break from kpop and didn't post about Heeseung, who once again was her bias.
Are you serious? Like actually actually serious? What has this woman done to you so you have to go and attack her on the internet? It was already bad when you crazy people spammed Jungwon and Jay, especially on the latters birthday, but her? A content creator who simply made videos for Engene? And now that she was in shock and wanted to deal with things in a private matter THIS is how you treat her?
I am a content creator myself and I am TERRIFIED to make Enhypen content anymore because I don't want these sick people on my videos at all. But it sucks that I DO want to make videos on Enhypen (not even about the situation, just regular content) but seeing how the internet started to react after Heeseung left Enhypen, I just don't feel as condident anymore.
Please show Coco some love and support on socials and on the internet in general. Again, she did absolutely nothing to deserve this, and someone as talented and amazing as her deserves better from the internet.
