Is VCHA Rebranding to GIRLSET After Shocking Member Exits? #kpop

After months of silence and controversy, Vicha JP Entertainment’s American Girl Group may be heading toward a major transformation. Recently, JYPp quietly filed trademarks for two new names, Girl Set and Girls Set. While nothing official has been announced, fans are speculating that this could signal a rebrand of Vicha, one that’s long overdue after a rocky debut, ongoing hiatus, and the departure of two members. Earlier this year, member KG shocked fans when she announced her departure and filed a lawsuit against JYPp USA, citing mistreatment and abuse. Now, Kaye, the youngest member and previously on hiatus, has also left. On July 11th, Kaye posted a heartfelt message on Instagram. I wanted to inform everyone that my journey with JYPp Entertainment and Vicha has come to an end. While this part of my life is closing, I am incredibly excited for the new one ahead. While she didn’t mention KG or the lawsuit, the timing has led fans to believe this confirms deeper issues behind the scenes. Many now believe that Vicha down to four members could be rebranding entirely under the new name Girl Set with a more mature concept. Here’s what fans are saying. Girl set definitely sounds like a rebrand name for Vicha. They’re all adults now. It makes sense to move on from the cutesy image. I’m glad they’re starting fresh, especially with everything that’s come out. Vicha tanked. Let’s be real. JP has one shot left to save them. Others noticed that Kaye created a personal account, followed Vicha, and then announced her departure within a week, sparking rumors that the rebrand was already in motion. As all of this unfolds, it’s impossible to ignore the serious accusations made by former member KG, who exposed some alarming details about her time in the group and with the company. Here’s a full breakdown of what KG revealed in her lawsuit. Former Vicha member Kiara Grace Matter, better known as KG, has officially submitted a declaration to the court, and what she revealed is deeply disturbing. From being forced to work while injured to allegations of hidden cameras and emotional control, this story is shaking up the K-pop world. According to KG, she signed her contract with JYPp Entertainment at just 15 years old without fully understanding what she was agreeing to. She says she was given an attorney chosen by JYP, someone who she later found out wasn’t actually representing her best interests. Most of the documents were in Korean, and she was rushed to sign without a proper explanation. She described multiple serious injuries, including to her shoulder, hip, and leg, and claimed she was still forced to train and perform. KG provided medical records, receipts, and even photos of bruises as proof. In one case, she was told by doctors to stop physical activity, yet JYPp allegedly made her continue dancing. Anyway, KG revealed that she worked over 60 hours a week with long, exhausting schedules. In leaked screenshots, JYPp staff appeared to discourage her from taking breaks, even if she was sick or in pain. She said she was terrified to speak up and often worked in silence. Dieting was another major issue. KG says she and the other Vicha members were constantly told to lose weight, being offered only salads and water. Staff allegedly said things like, “Don’t eat and you’ll regret it if you gain weight.” Monthly weigh-ins were reportedly mandatory, even when members were clearly struggling. One of the most shocking claims is about hidden cameras. KG says she and the members later found out that cameras had been secretly installed in the kitchen and dining area of their LA group home. They were never told about the surveillance and felt like their privacy was completely violated. The pressure took a toll on everyone. KG says that one member of Vicha attempted suicide and others were constantly anxious or depressed. She herself missed school, struggled with severe emotional exhaustion, and eventually made the decision to leave the group. To make things worse, despite all of this, KG now allegedly owes over $500,000 to JYPp. That’s right, half a million dollars in training debt with no payment for the work she did. This declaration has left fans stunned, and many are calling for transparency and accountability from JYPp Entertainment. Whether JYP chooses to push forward as Girlet or not, it’s clear that the group’s future will look very different. Only time will tell if the rebrand can help the remaining four members rebuild or if the shadow of controversy will continue to follow. Let us know what you think in the comments.
