China is mad at Kpop Demon Hunters since a bunch of Chinese netizens are calling out Kpop Demon Hunters for “cultural theft.” They’re accusing the Netflix Korean film of stealing from Chinese heritage—some even went as far as calling it “cheap, boring trash.” But Professor Seo Kyung-Duk from Sunshin Women’s University clapped back, saying: “Instead of accusing Korea of stealing culture, maybe Chinese netizens should start respecting other nations’ heritage.” Maybe they’re just salty that Huntrix Rumi, Mira, and Zoey are more popular than Ne Zha 2.
