Can i just say bigbang is such an all rounder group and every member is truly the best at what they’re supposed to do. i’m a new-ish vip (ot4) and wasn’t a kpopie except for the occasional mv watch until i caved in to bigbang to see what the hype was about, and i was blown away the more and more i went down the rabbit hole. they just seem to have it all, dare i say they’re such a complete group, excelling perfectly at what they do. and the ability to command a stage as solo artists too, each and every one of them.
I found out that lee soo man himself personally picked an 8 year old gd as a trainee because of his dancing. he was clearly able to see the raw talent as a performer at such a young age. Daesung isn’t the objectively best looking either (personally, his stage presence and performance made him my bias and I do find him hot lol ), but i found out that during pre debut, he didn’t need to fear elimination as much since the older yg artists (og vocalists like big mama and gummy) held his vocals in high esteem. he literally had one trick up his sleeve (plus the stage presence, if that counts). Taeyang speaks for himself, and no one can deny top’s rap ability (he was already an underground rapper before bigbang and he went by the name Tempo).
I don’t wanna glaze too much or else it might turn into an essay, but i’m completely blown away by them. they’re ready to put their foot down on every concept and they do it so well, can command solo stages, can compose and produce even non kpop tracks and turn them into national hits (trot tracks like “big hit” and “look at me gwisun” by Daesung, composed by gd himself). Even if gd produces, he has such strong vessels to execute perfectly. Taeyang and Top also write/composes their own solos and verses. But I’m just in awe of them being all rounders in everything (okay maybe not synchronicity but they absolutely could if they had to and I think it adds to their charms because each of them have such unique style).

TLDR: glazing this group now because i refused to listen to kpop and missed the glaze off when bb was popping.
