what do you think about fans buying the same clothes, or food, or jewelry or who knows maybe even the same car or apartment as their fave Idol or Idol group???
and when is too far/ too much?
im one of the kpop fans that can admit I've bought jewelry that i seen my faves have
even if it was the replica or dupe version (cuz most idols buy expensive accessories), i bought it to just match my fave and also the pieces i got match a few of my outfits anyway and fit my aesthetic.. nothing more – nothing serious
certain foods I've tried cuz of my faves too like mint chocolate ice cream or pineapple pizza
i think things like that are innocent, especially because even if we take "kpop fan" out, theres still other strangers who bought the same accessories that Idol is using anyway tbh
the two most expensive things i got to match my bias was a phone that him and his group was a ambassador or advertiser for, and everyone in the group had that phone- so i got it to feel "included i guess" and also i spent some hundreds on a particular thing my fave was into, and i wanted to try myself
BUT WHEN IS IT LIKE "yeah nah she a stalker.. why would she get THAT exact thing he/she got🤨???"
